Therapeutic Groups
At Evans Counseling Services, we believe that healing takes place within the context of community and when addressing the full mind, body, and spirit. Therefore we offer both somatic healing groups and counseling groups. We are eager for you to give these groups a try! Ideal as supplements to your current work in therapy, or a stand-alone resource for your self care–we are sure there is a group for you!

Healing Circle
Practitioner: Lynae Martinez
This circle is a welcoming space to experience connection, belonging, and supportive relationships. Together, we’ll explore different healing modalities each week—such as journaling, breathwork, guided somatic practices, creative expression, and nature-based healing. These tools can be especially supportive for easing anxiety, stress, and the challenges of everyday life. The focus is on slowing down, honoring your own pace, and discovering resources that nurture resilience and inner peace. Each gathering offers space for sharing, reflection, and rest.
Midweek Melt
Practitioner: Julie Clarence
Utilize breathwork, self-massage with Yoga Tune Up® balls, and grounding practices to help release tension and reset your nervous system.
Restorative Movement & Somatic Meditation
Practitioner: Lynae Martinez
This class combines gentle, yoga-based stretching, restorative poses, and grounding practices with guided meditation to support the body, mind, and nervous system. The focus is on giving you space to explore movements in ways that feel right for your body, with the option to use supportive tools like blankets, bolsters, or cushions. Calming music and guided meditation provide a safe space to release stress, restore balance, and reconnect with yourself. All practices are offered as gentle invitations, and no experience is needed.
