Somatic Yoga: Morning & Evening

Move your body, connect your mind

Welcome to our Trauma-Sensitive Somatic Yoga class! In this class, we focus on using a combination of gentle stretches, yoga postures, breath exercises, mindfulness practices, and somatic exercises to help release tension in the body, increase presence and connection, and assist with mindful awareness. Our aim is to inspire exploration and connection to what’s happening inside, approaching with curiosity and compassion.

Somatic yoga allows us to connect with our emotions, sit with and embrace our uncomfortable feelings, and move away from the freeze, flight, fight, and fawn cycle many of us feel stuck in. We provide a small group format that fosters connection and 1:1 support when needed, inviting a safe space for sharing. Mornings Yoga: Wednesdays, 10-11am
begins Oct. 2, 2024
Evening Yoga: Mondays, 6-7pm
begins Sept. 30, 2024

Meet the instructor

Lynae Martinez

Lynae incorporates trauma-informed yoga with mindfulness. She encourages you to show up exactly as you are. Her goal with every client is to guide, empower and most importantly, provide them with the tools to implement the teachings into their daily lives, creating a routine of balance, purpose and self love.
