On Refugees

Several weeks ago I wrote a reflective response after visiting Congolese refugees in Louisville, Kentucky.  Little did I know that 2 websites would choose to post this article during such a controversial week on the topic.  I wrote it, considering the growing reality of refugees in our country and around our world, as a challenge to consider our opportunity in response.

Much is now being written on the topic from varying viewpoints, and I don’t claim to be a political expert, but I pass on what I experienced to serve as a guide for how we see and respond to those we call refugees:   Through the Eyes of a Refugee: the Mission Field has come to us.
